I am in the process of researching indigenous methodologies of art making and shamanic practices. This curiosity has led me on a pilgrimage to Ecuador and Mexico.

I am curious about how our creative energy is connected to the restoration of wholeness in ourselves and in the restoration of the earth. I just finished a clay residency in Chiapas and Oaxaca. I learned with an indigenous family. They will teach me their process of working with clay. During my time in Lagos I want to develop artistic ceremonies that offer a ritual space for the public to contemplate how they create sacred spaces in their lives, in their relationships, in themselves and with the earth. I want to explore more with clay and natural materials to create sacred objects that can be used in rituals/artistic ceremonies.

Estoy en el proceso de investigar metodologías indígenas para la creación del arte y prácticas chamánicas. Esta curiosidad me ha llevado a peregrinar por Ecuador y México. 

Mi intención es desarrollar ceremonias artísticas que son inspiradas de las ceremonias que participé en Ecuador. Tengo curiosidad por saber cómo nuestra energía creativa está conectada a la restauración de la integridad en nosotros mismos y en la restauración de la tierra. Ahorita terminé un residencia de barro en Chiapas y Oaxaca. Aprendí con una familia indigena. Ellos me enseñaran sus proceso de trabajo con barro. Durante mi tiempo en Lagos quiero desarrollar ceremonias artísticas que ofrecen un espacio ritual al público para contemplar cómo crean espacios sagrados en su vida, en sus relaciones, en sí mismos y con la tierra.
