I am in the process of researching indigenous methodologies of art making and shamanic practices. This curiosity has led me on a pilgrimage to Ecuador and Mexico.

I am curious about how our creative energy is connected to the restoration of wholeness in ourselves and in the restoration of the earth. I just finished a clay residency in Chiapas and Oaxaca. I learned with an indigenous family. They will teach me their process of working with clay. During my time in Lagos I want to develop artistic ceremonies that offer a ritual space for the public to contemplate how they create sacred spaces in their lives, in their relationships, in themselves and with the earth. I want to explore more with clay and natural materials to create sacred objects that can be used in rituals/artistic ceremonies.
