Soy un artista Chileno autodidacta. He dedicado mi trabajo a la experimentación y creación en relación al lenguaje del arte textil, bordado y tejido. Mantengo siempre la búsqueda de nuevas herramientas, técnicas y procesos que permitan dialogar con mi trabajo. Me interesan  los materiales nobles y orgánicos, las texturas que generan los distintos materiales. Durante los últimos diez años trabajando en estas  técnicas, he desarrollando investigaciones sobre las posibilidades textiles, viajando a Alemania atraído por el trabajo textil en la  Bauhaus. En Berlín donde tuve mi última exposición individual , también experimenté con los teñidos naturales hechos a mano y la  creación de monocromas en formas geométricas. Mi trabajo consiste principalmente en la indagación y búsqueda con la intención de integrar el arte textil a los medios contemporáneos, visibilizando y rescatando antiguas técnicas y mixturas de material.

Después de realizar un viaje de reconocimiento territorial en distintos lugares de México y  lograr estudiar algunas de las técnicas de la artesanía textil principalmente, desarrollo en Lagos una serie de piezas inéditas inspiradas en mi investigación. De esta forma generar un cruce con mi trabajo y otras proyecciones.
Se trata de una nueva serie que incluye las técnicas de bordado, pintura y dibujo.

I am a self-taught Chilean artist. I have dedicated my work to experimentation and creation in relation to the language of textile art, embroidery and weaving. I am always searching for new tools, techniques and processes that allow me to dialogue with my work. I am interested in noble and organic materials, the textures generated by different materials. During the last ten years working on these techniques, I have developed research on textile possibilities, traveling to Germany attracted by the textile work at the Bauhaus. In Berlin where I had my last solo exhibition, I also experimented with natural hand dyeing and the creation of monochromes in geometric shapes. My work consists mainly of experimentation and research with the intention of integrating textile art to contemporary media, making visible and rescuing old techniques and material mixtures. 

After making a territorial reconnaissance trip to different places in Mexico and studying some of the techniques of textile crafts mainly, I developed in Lagos a series of unpublished pieces inspired by my research. In this way I generate a crossover with my work and other projections.
This is a new series that includes the techniques of embroidery, painting and drawing.
