Valeria Becerra (COL) es una artista multidisciplinaria radicada en México, en su trabajo explora la materia de diferentes maneras; haciendo énfasis en el círculo y en prácticas dirigidas hacia el interior del ser humano como la meditación y el sueño. Busca expandir su práctica de manera instalativa hacia diferentes formas de infinito. Para ello la ha acompañado el artista sonoro Uri Wapinsky, quien interpreta la obra plástica de Becerra a manera de una introspección. En el proceso de lograr la colaboración, Valeria y Uri intercambiaron conceptos, textos, pláticas y sueño. Así surge la pieza Éter/materia, que busca inducir a los asistentes a aquella fase de vida, previa o inicial, espontánea, sin patrones y con diferentes matices.

Valeria Becerra (COL) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Mexico, explored matter in different ways; emphasizing the circle and practices directed towards the interior of the human being such as meditation and dreaming. She sought to expand her practice in an installative way towards different forms of infinity. For this she is accompanied by sound artist Uri Wapinsky, who interprets Becerra's plastic work as a form of introspection. In the process of achieving this collaboration, Valeria and Uri exchanged concepts, texts, talks and dreams. Thus arises the piece Ether/matter, which seeks to induce the audience to that phase of life, previous or initial, spontaneous, without patterns and with different nuances.
