olgaMargarita dávila

olgaMargarita dávila is a relational artist with a hybrid identity; she works as a curator, arts manager, lecturer and art writer. With over 30 years’ experience, she has organised more than 300 exhibitions across various countries and has designed educational programmes for artists, focusing on the development of conceptual and self-regulation skills to understand and engage with contemporary art. She specialises in holistic curatorial processes, which she has developed with 165 artists from diverse disciplines and backgrounds. She has held senior positions at the Ministry of Culture in Coahuila and Baja California; she is currently chief curator at LAGOS Art Studios and Residencies in Mexico City and Oaxaca, whilst also working on other curatorial and educational projects. Her work focuses on fostering and promoting reflection on contemporary art through practice, with a cross-cutting, feminist and collaborative perspective.
